About Us

DANI Dancewear is a sole proprietorship formed in March 2004 by Debra Bowers.  Debra's been involved in dance (ballet, tap, African, jazz) for more than 25 years.  She partnered with the JACIRE Performing Arts dance studio to provide dancewear to it's students.

In June 2007, DANI Dancewear moved to it's own location. 

DANI Dancewear got it's name from Debra's daughter, Danielle, who's been dancing beautifully since the age of 3.

We offer quality, brand-name dancewear at a reasonable cost to the Prince Georges County, Maryland community and surrounding areas.

Debra would like to express appreciation to Ms. Ann and Ms. Pam for their support and love through the years and for giving her this opportunity.

DANI Dancewear would not be the friendly place it is without the dedicated and reliable Catherine who works in the store during the weekday and  Shanice G. on Saturdays.  We have also had the help of Dominique, Lia, Danielle S., Shaneace, Meaghan and Simone during the summer months and as needed.  Thank you to my dedicated staff.  It means so much.

And finally, none of this would be possible without God.  It's through His grace  that this dream has come true for me.  All honor and glory to God!
